This is a nice small cafe within walking distance. The Embarcadero sandwich and cup of Havana coffee is delicious! There's enough seating and WiFi if you need to work on your laptop. I only wished the place opened longer. But that's minor. Other than that this is a great place for coffee.

Try the Havana. It's really awesome!

I came here this morning as part of my quest to find the best coffee shop - or at least a really good coffee shop - in this neighborhood. I went to Philz yesterday, and was sorely disappointed. Like, I left grouchier than I when I went in, and that almost never happens after I have coffee!!

After a quick Yelp/Google search, (meaning I sorted the coffee shop list by distance, and this one was the one closest to me), I decided to go to Cup. Like many other people here, I also ordered a Havana. It's a little more expensive now ($4.75 instead of the $4.00 I saw other people post), but I thought it was really good -- slightly on the sweet side, but well-balanced with the espresso and the steamed milk.

I only stopped in to pick up a coffee, but the space itself seemed like a great place to work; I saw many people quietly working on the side. I am going to continue my way down my list, but this place is definitely a great option for a coffee break.

The owners are sweet and the coffee is delicious! I also tried the bagel sandwiches and they are good. I love the customer service and atmosphere.

This place is wonderful. The owners are the sweetest people you could ever meet. My son (with his super duper special hot chocolate) said it best: This place just keeps getting better and better!

Do not underestimate Cup Cafe - big hearts run this little nestled neighborhood gem. Delicious coffee and drinks, scrumptious sandwiches and snacks, and just a gentle and lovely atmosphere to rest, read, think, visit with friends. Cup Cafe faces east so the morning sun warms and wakes me up. Big thumbs up for the bossa nova and Mediterranean music playing softly in the background that takes me away and reminds me of my travels and love of the classics in music.
